The hotel offers breathtaking harbor views that enhance the stay.
My experience was marred by several issues. The rooms were surprisingly noisy, with sounds from above and nearby staff areas disrupting my rest. Additionally, the reception staff was less than welcoming, leaving me feeling ignored during my arrival. Despite the hotel's strong design and amenities, these aspects left much to be desired.

The views from my room were stunning, especially over the
water. The room itself was spacious and equipped with a comfortable bed and a coffee machine, making for a cozy stay. I was disappointed, though, that the restaurant had inadequate seating due to a large party reservation, which limited our dining experience.

The views from our corner room over the fjord 🌊 were breathtaking! Breakfast was diverse and fresh, just amazing! However, the breakfast rush made finding a seat tough at times.

stunning, stunning, stunning
From my experience, the views of the harbor are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the rooms overlooking the fjord! I was also impressed by the dining experience on the outdoor terrace, where I enjoyed a delightful three-course meal made with locally sourced ingredients. The breakfast was another highlight. it offered an impressive variety of delicious options with a gorgeous waterfront view that truly elevated the meal.

my stay was absolutely horrible. I had a closed bar due to a private function woudl ve been nice to be informed ahead. And who puts a hotel in such a remote location? the pillows were softer than marshmallows, they should really invest in better ones. I almost gave them a good review but just couldn’t.

The reasons I’m conflicted
Staying in an old fish factory offered unique architecture and expansive views over the water. Breakfast was exceptional, likely the best I've enjoyed at any hotel in Norway.

It was just a proper fit for a weekend escape in Kristiansund with exceptional value. We enjoyed a big room with a fantastic view of the city across the water. Make sure to grab a spot on the balcony between the buildings to unwind with great scenery.
